Q.  What would you say were the high and low points of your life, both unrelated and related to your medical condition?
A.  Wow, I need to think. Okay, as far as my health goes, the high point is simply being alive, so I can watch all the wildlife on planet earth. The low point is dealing with pain. I hate it! Not thinking about my health problems, the high point of my life is the great feeling that comes from helping animals in need : ) and the low point is watching an animal suffer when you are helpless to do anything.  : (

Q.  Do U have any pets & what R your fav animals?
A.  I have 3 kitties, Lulu, Nala and Suzy and a cockatiel, Squall. My mantis, Zorak just passed away : (  and I miss him a lot. He liked to climb on me and be hand fed crickets. My most favorite animals are dolphins, cheetahs, wolves, birds of prey and reptiles, but I love all animals. Update:  I finally got my wish to have a German Shepherd...yea!

Q.  How did you get started in art and photography?
A.  I have been drawing pictures of mostly animals since I was a little kid, and several years ago I started drawing anime characters a lot. In 1997, my dad got me a Canon 35mm camera and I fell in love with shooting nature and wildlife.  Can't wait to upgrade my camera to a newer one so I can take better quality pictures.

Q.  What are the best and worst things about hospitals from your point of view?
A.  Most of the doctors and nurses are really nice which is the best thing. The worst thing is when no one listens to you or believes what you say. Having an advocate speak up for you makes a big difference. Oh yeah, do I need to mention hospital food? When they let you eat, that is.

Q.  What do you dream about?
A.  Swimming with dolphins and having a normal life. Sometimes, I have nightmares about being stuck with tons of needles all at once.

Q.  What do you like to do the most?
A.  Besides digital art and wildlife photography, I like to play video games like FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, Heavenly Sword & see movies, go to marine parks and zoos, and of course, rescue animals from danger.  When I get my strength back, I want to go horseback riding as much as I can.  Some day, I hope to own a Hummer so I can get into the back country to do wildlife shoots with my camera.

Q.  Do you go to school?
A.  My health problems made me miss so much school that I have yet to graduate. I still want very much to complete high school and go to an art or vet tech school.

Q.  What do you like the most? What do you hate the most?
A.  I like animals the most, because they are in tune with nature and don't do the things I hate the most, like being dishonest, committing crimes and hurting others.

Q.  Where did the name Eccoblue come from?
A.  Years ago, I used to play a video game called Ecco the Dolphin, and I love dolphins, so I combined that name with my favorite color to use on the internet. I also sign my artwork Eccoblue.

Q.  What's cool about using a computer to make your pictures?
A.  There's no limit to what you can come up with, create, change or enhance. It does take as much time, if not more, than painting with oils on a canvas, but without the cleanup. I'm messy so that's good. It takes time to learn the software though and I don't think I'll ever master that. I leave the printing to other people so it gets done right.

Q.  What are your favorite movies and TV shows?
A.  There are way too many movies that I like since I'm a film enthusiast, but my all time favorites are the Shrek & Spiderman series, V for Vendetta, and Eragon, because I love that dragon, Saphira. I like most every type of movie, including sci-fi, comedy, drama and action/adventure. On TV, I like to watch Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien,  and my brother's tape collection of Laurel & Hardy films. They make me laugh so hard it hurts and I can hardly breathe. My favorite sci-fi TV show was Farscape, which is the best acted, best written, best set designed Sci-fi show I have ever seen in any medium. My current favorite shows are House, MD and 24.

Q.  Do you like music?  Who are your favorite singers?
A.  Yeah.  I like to listen to just about everything.  There are way too many artists that I like a whole lot...Shania Twain, Neil Diamond, Sheryl Crow,  Pink, Martina McBride and many, many others.
